Australian Ross Bright moved to Singapore in 2001 roasting for major coffee brands. With over 23 years of roasting and coffee experience he founded Bright Coffee Company.
Becoming a certified World Barista Championship Judge in 2006, he introduced the competitions to Singapore and South East Asia, judging in Denmark, Japan and Mexico among others. Ross has been training Baristas and Judges around the SEA region to raise awareness for Specialty Coffee.
Along with his travels to South America, Central America, Africa and Asia, he has also been an Authorised Trainer (AST) for the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) since 2013. He has represented internationally recognised coffee machine and grinder companies and is now roasting again in Singapore. Providing high quality fresh roasted coffee and customer service to match, he looks forward to being of service to you.
We always strive to give our customers the best experience possible. This means that, unlike other companies, WE DO NOT OUTSOURCE our roasting and packing. Our coffee is roasted to perfection in Singapore on a German-built Probat.
We then pack them into our high-quality packaging, fitted with a premium WIPF Swiss-made valve to retain freshness for as long as possible.
We also offer our own premium doorstep delivery service with our own team of dedicated drivers. After packing and sorting, our drivers deliver your coffee to you as soon as possible. Straight from the roaster! Our drivers hope to deliver not only the best coffee but also the best experience possible.
What this means is that you receive a product that was expertly curated and cared for, in a package made to keep your coffee fresh for long periods, all within 0-5 days of ordering.
If the answer is no, we try to make it as sustainable as possible, even if it means more time and effort is spent on a product before we are ready to sell it. This can come in the form of our Biodegradable Nespresso® compatible capsules that were made to be as sustainable as possible without compromising on quality.
Our packaging’s outer layer is made from recycled paper to reduce our overall carbon footprint. We also avoid printing with ink due to the pollution that ink can cause. When we do utilise printing, we avoid colour printing to reduce our overall ink consumption.
We prefer coffee that comes from farms and suppliers that guarantee that they utilise sustainable practices – and even better – have the certifications to prove it. Our Rainforest Alliance Certification, Swiss Water Process, and Certifed Organics are some examples of this.
